Our Doctrine

What We Believe

We are an independent Baptist church rooted in the King James Bible. These convictions guide everything we do.

The Bible

We believe the King James Bible is God's Holy Word that reveals Himself towards man and has been preserved by God Himself. The word of God is complete (plenary), inerrant, and infallible. It is the final authority for the life of the believer and the local church.

2 Timothy 3:16 • Psalm 12:6-7

Salvation

It is God's redemptive work to save man from the penalty of sin. It is 100% by faith alone, grace alone, as man responds to God's call to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9 • Romans 10:9

The Church

The institution God has put in place where a local body of baptized believers assemble to glorify God, grow, and to fulfill the Great Commission given to the local church.

Matthew 28:18-20 • Hebrews 10:25

Jesus Christ

The second person of the Trinity, and the only mediator between God and man. He is 100% God and 100% man in nature and deity.

1 Timothy 3:16 • John 1:1 • 1 Timothy 2:5

The Resurrection

Jesus rose bodily from the grave three days after His crucifixion and was seen by many witnesses. 40 days after His resurrection He ascended to the Father.

1 Corinthians 15:3-8 • Acts 1:3

Baptism

An ordinance of the local church — the immersion of a believer into water to symbolize one's death to sin and identification as a child of God.

Matthew 28:19 • Romans 6:3-4

The Lord's Table

The second ordinance of the local church, administered to a body of believers and to be participated in with sobriety and self-inspection. It is a memorial of Christ's sacrifice until He returns.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 • Luke 22:19-20
