What We Believe

God

We believe there is one true God and that this God has expressed himself in 3 persons (Trinity/Triune God) The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Deuteronomy 4:6; 1 John 5:7

The Bible

We believe the King James Bible is God’s Holy Word that reveals Himself towards man and has been preserved by God Himself. The word of God is complete (plenary), inerrant, and infallible.
2 Timothy 3:16; John 5:39

The Church

The institution God has put in place where a local body of baptized believers assemble to glorify God, grow, and to fulfill the Great Commission given to the local church.
Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:12; Ephesians 3:21

Salvation

It is God’s redemptive work to save man from the penalty of sin and for man’s transgressions against God. It is 100% by faith alone, grace alone, as man responds to God’s call to repent. God Has done all the work for someone to be saved and man must respond and receive the gift.
Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; John 14:6

The Resurrection

We believe that according to the scriptures, Jesus rose bodily from the grave three days after His crucifixion death, and was seen thereafter by many witnesses and 40 days after ascended back to the Father.
1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 1:1-3; Acts 1:9

The Holy Spirit

The third person of the Trinity, active in drawing mankind for salvation, 100% God. He indwells the believer and guides the believer into all truth.
John 4:24; John 16:13; John 16:8

Jesus Christ

The second person of the Trinity, and is the only mediator between God and man. He is 100% God and 100% man in nature and deity
1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:1; 1 Timothy 2:5

Baptism

An ordinance given to the local church to be the arbiter. Baptism is the immersion of a believer into water to symbolize one’s death to sin and identifying as a child of God, to walk in newness of life.
Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 3:21; Colossians 2:12

Lord’s Table

The second ordinance given to the local church to also be the arbiter. It is to be administered to a local body of believers and should be participated with a sobriety and inspection of one’s self. The members gather to commemorate what the Lord Jesus Hath done through His shed blood and broken body.
1 Corinthians 11:2; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

The second coming/return of Christ

Jesus Christ will return physically and visibly to this earth, in like manner when He ascended to the Father. The Rapture of His saints will occur before His second coming.
Jude 1:14; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 1:7
